Hebrews: Once Upon a Time

Thousands of stories start with a simple “Once upon a time..”  These events only happen once and the writer often uses this opening because the story is unique and sometimes unbelievable.  The writer of Hebrew tells us that something so special happened when Yeshua died on the cross, that his sacrifice was greater and more sufficient, that it only had to happen once.
This is no mere fairy tale, it is the essence of the good news of Yeshua the Messiah.  Our Messiah died for your sins once and for all.  In fact, Rabbi Jake challenges us to consider the motives of our belief.  Is Yeshua a means to an end or is the good news a relationship with the one true God of the universe.
